The icons is represent "home" and "contact". We do it in Pixel and Vector icons.

Actually the theme is... about fantasy. Not sure everyone noticed it or not.
Thats why, i need some feedback!!! So that i can improve it. ^-^

ReplyDelete2. i don't really know what's the contact-pixel icon. i see rainbow i think but i'm not sure about what it's trying to say. hmm
3. good work on the similar orange & red in the vector but for the pixel, only the background has a similar color. it would work better if they have other similarities in color as well.contact-vector can be cuter to suit the home-vector icon. however relating the icons to the fantasy theme has a bit of struggle. the mushroom house is good but the rest of the pixel & vector icon seems to be a bit lacking. try referencing more fantasy-themed artwork and take their prominent elements to suit to your work.
4. originality can be improved. the use of envelope for the icon is slightly unoriginal. i feel that there can be more things done to it other than the color and those stringy elements added to it. fantasy theme needs to be strengthened in your icon while bearing in mind the message that the icons are delivering. are they saying what you want them to say?
5. pixel-home and vector-contact is a bit simple. i'm not saying to add more things into the image but change the elements used. by making in to fantasy-like would be making it less simple. hmm well maybe for the pixel-home you can use a simplified castle or something because the icon now isn't really fantasy-like. contact-pixel still doesnt communicate a clear enough message. maybe the contact-pixel is too complicated that's why it's not saying a clear message.
6. strengthen fantasy theme! add more cuteness to it by controlling the colors and the roundness of shapes.the best would be to make them more like the mushroom house. give them a more magical feel. colours in the pixel icon needs some work.
7. not the pixel-contact icon, but for the rest would be quite okay
you did a good job on the vector-home icon and improving the rest would make the whole group of icons alot better. try your best :)

5.i think it is not creative yet... looks not special...not like your own design...i didnt mean to say that, but is my suggestion...sometimes look simple...but after looks for a long time...will feel boring..and dont want see anymore...it is not attractive again...

3.Not really, how to link the mushroom and the envelope together? as you told, its from the fantasy theme, the mushroom might give the feeling that its from fantasy group but not the envelope, it has nothing to do with it in your design
4. I think i had already seen it quite many times outside here, maybe you should modify more, but not just stick on the same design
5. The mushroom are complicated, envelope are too ...i just dont know how to say, isnt it is a CONTACT icon? but why it looks like a MESSAGE icon? Uhm..maybe its a MESSAGE icon that i misunderstand? i dont know. But it should be change, the envelope can be appear in various shape and pattern, remember what we learn in Design 1&2?

7.I might know what's the function of HOME but not the CONTACT. Like i said, contact shouldnt involve envelope that create another misunderstanding for people that thinking its a MESSAGE icon.

Kinda, but it lacks... Something. Not sure what it is, but I feel somethin' is lackin there, some colors fit but some don't.

Hmm... Mushroom reminds me of the game MapleStory, but the rest feel completely original, IMO

b) No. i must say, its no. cause i can only make out the home. and for your contacts icons, i cant make it out. the first contact icon doesnt remind me of contact. and for the 2nd contact icon, i can only think its "mail" at first sight.

pixel icons looks like dey belong to the same group. while the 3rd and 4th icon looks stand alone, without any connection to the first 2 icons.

part orginal. but for the pink one, reminds me too much of barbie, pony dat sort of thing. and for the 3rd icon. reminded me of games with mushroom for houses.

The colour for Vector is pretty. The pixel ones are meh.
